Gary Lynch, MS, PT, ATC, CSCS

Gary M. Lynch received his B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 1984. In 1993 he received his M.S. degree in Physical Education - Biomechanics from The University of Delaware. He became a certified athletic trainer in 1999, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2003. He worked at the Union Memorial Sports Medicine Center for 16 years, serving as the site coordinator at their Bel Air facility for 11 years. In 2001, he started a private practice in Forest Hill, MD. He has given lectures for corporations in the proper use of a variety of rehabilitation equipment, Allegany College, Maryland Chapter of the Physical Therapy Association, Betty Cox and Associates and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He has also assisted with athletic training coverage for the schools in Harford County, and a variety of sports camps in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Harford County.

 

 

Joyce L. Coady, Physical Therapist Assistant

Joyce received her Associates Degree for Physical Therapist Assistant from Carroll Community College in 1997, completing her affiliation with Gary Lynch, P.T. in Bel Air, Maryland. She practiced two years in a private, out- patient treatment facility in Abingdon, Maryland. In 1999, she returned to Union Memorial Sports Medicine as a Physical Therapist Assistant until 2001. Since then she has been working at Gary Lynch Physical Therapy. Joyce has continued her education, taking many courses, focusing on Manual Techniques, including studies with John F. Barnes, P.T., developer of the Myofascial Release Approach. Joyce thrives on making physical therapy as enjoyable for her patients as it is for her!

 

   

Richard J. Renehan, PT

Rick attended Randolph- Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and obtained his BS degree in biology in 1987.

He continued his professional degree at the Medical College of Virginia- Virginia Commonwealth University earning a BS in physical therapy in 1990. He began his physical therapy career at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1992. He moved to private practice in Harford County and accepted a position at Gary Lynch Physical Therapy LLC in January 2005. He has a wide range of experience in 16 years of physical therapy including acute care, cardiac rehabilitation, outpatient, aquatic therapy and private practice. He has special training in lymphedema and vestibular treatment.

Rick has taken extensive orthopedic courses relating to spinal disorders. He has taken all courses in the Mulligan Concept and plans to sit for his certification this year.

 

   

Trudy Roles, Physical Therapist Assistant

In 1995 Trudy earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Baltimore City Community College. Her career began at Montebello Hospital which merged with Kernan Rehabilitation Hospital in 1996. Her experience includes brain injury, inpatient orthopedics, sub- acute and out- patient physical therapy where she treated various diagnoses. Her specialty is treatment of lower extremity amputations and brace training of spinal cord injured patients. After 10 years at Kernan Hospital, she accepted a position at Gary Lynch Physical Therapy in October 2005. Here, she is able to treat a variety of diagnoses and continues to use aquatic therapy as an adjunct to therapy.
